Our Journey

The Shoreline Story

From our humble beginnings on the shores of Lake of the Woods to becoming Kenora’s premier waterfront solution provider, Shoreline Docks has built a legacy of excellence since 2008.

Our Roots

Kenora's Local Experts

Born and raised in Kenora, Ontario, Scott Bailey grew up on Lake of the Woods. Exploring the lake at a young age at their family camp, where he learned valuable skills from both his father and grandfather.

As he grew older he realized how a safe and functional dock is so important to the summer months. From having cold drinks on a hot summer day to watching his son grow up on the same dock his grandfather once built, he realized that a dock brings family and friends together.

After graduating high school, Scott began working in the dock business at a local company, where he gained further skills in welding, fabrication, carpentry, and customer service. In 2017, he received a three-year Accounting/Business Diploma from Confederation College in Thunder Bay, followed by a one-year welding diploma.

In 2020, with more than 13 years of experience, Scott founded Shoreline Docks to serve Northwestern Ontario with one objective: to offer quality docks, exceptional service, competitive pricing, and fast turnaround. Enjoy your shoreline with Shoreline Docks—where safety, quality, and service come first.
